I have used other brands of repellent that worked much better than this one. For some reason, this brand just didn't get rid of the gophers and moles very well. And none of them works for very long. You really have to use the repellent at least twice a year (and three times is better) to keep them out of your yard. When you use a good brand and use it often, it really does run them off... for awhile, then they're back again in a few months.

This product is safe to use around children and really works. We've used this product to eliminate ants, centipedes, silverfish, cockroaches and other insects in our home without suffering the harsh chemical odor and side effects of other poison filled insect eliminators. There is a pleasant mint smell that everyone can tolerate. It does not leave any visual residue on walls, carpets and or floors. We've used this product everywhere both indoors and out. It also repels insects for approximately 4 weeks, which is amazing! We spray the window sills and entryways around the doors to keep the little critters out. You won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this product for everyone!

I cannot speak to every type of animal listed on the product label, but my mother's suburban home has had problems with raccoons for a couple of years. We gave Havahart Critter Ridder a try and it worked, no more unwelcome visits from raccoons. We applied the product on the ground around the perimeter of her home where it would be somewhat protected from rainfall by the eves on the house. The only thing we have had to do is reapply once in a while and problem solved. It is also worth noting that when in the immediate proximity of this product, it smells mildly unpleasant to humans but the smell fades after a couple of days.
Doesn't help with cats or dogs!

A person I work with highly recommended it. He said he solved his mole problem with his tulips. It may work for the smaller critters but did not help with my dog or cat. I sprinkled it all around my vegetable garden and my dog didn't even notice it and I used the whole big bottle. The day after I sprinkled it the cat was sitting right in the midst of it.

Critter Ridder works very well with cats and dogs. It kept my dog out of my vegetable garden and the stray cats from using my flower and vegetable garden as a litter box. Although after a heavy rainfall or a few rainy days, it will not last the 30 days as suggested and should be re-applied.
