I've used this product for years. We have a large property and use it to kill well over 100 fire ant mounds a year. Without it, we wouldn't be able to have a vegetable garden, because the ants would fill all of our raised beds with their nests. The active ingredient permethrin is the only food-safe pesticide I've found that works on fire ants. The only problem is that the big box hardware stores carry it only from time to time, so I buy a lot whenever I see it. Getting it online is the next best thing.

This stuff works great!! I have taken out millions of ants with it. I live in the desert so ants are a real big problem coming into the house.
