Product Description |
| Most popular repellent for Repellex. Used on flowers & ornamentals; up to 90 days of coverage. Active ingredients are dried blood and garlic oils. Blood based repellents have been found to be the most effective and longest lasting in the market.
Repellex Original Deer and Rabbit is a deer and rabbit repellent that keeps various pests away from your lawn and garden. The formulation is designed to bind and stick to the woody and leafy surfaces of flowers and ornamental plants offering up to 90 days of protection. The active ingredients in this product include dried blood, pepper and garlic oils. When these ingredients are combined they create a two part barrier of defense being smell and taste.
Repellex Original Deer and Rabbit is a natural repellent that is safe to use and works great. To apply Repellex, spray the repellent on the leaves and stems of plants you wish to protect. It is recommended to apply Repellex Original Deer and Rabbit on dry days when it will not rain, so the repellent will have time to set up on the surfaces. For best results, reapply throughout the season when new growth is present. Please note that Repellex Original Deer and Rabbit has a slight red pigment and occasionally can be seen on white or very light colored plants. In most cases the color will go away after a few rain showers. It is recommended to spot test if concerned.
Repellex Original Deer and Rabbit does have a noticeable smell when applied. That smell will subside within 24-48 hours of application. Trust us, the results are worth the effort!
One Quart of Repellex Original Deer and Rabbit Ready-To-Use (RTU) will cover and protect approximately 40 plants 16 inches tall. 1 Gallon of RTU will cover 160 plants. 1 Quart of Concentrate when mixed appropriately will cover 320 plants. 1 Gallon of Concentrate when mixed appropriately will cover 1280 plants. 2.5 Gallons of Concentrate when mixed appropriately will cover 3200 plants. |

Best deer repellent I have found on the market

| I live in a rural area with frequent visitors by deer, rabbits, etc. Many times I have found new plants that I just recently planted torn out of the ground or eaten down to the roots. Since I found Repellex I don't seem to have the problem, so it must be working. I don't even spray it directly on the plants, just around them & it works! It's pretty stinky, but well worth it if it keeps the critters away! Watch out for white siding though, as it will stain. |
Absolute Best Deer and Critter Repellant

This product absolutely works. We had deer nipping the buds off our rose bushes and rabbits nibbling down the flowers of our Impatiens.
With just a light spray, it stopped all the critters. It has a horrible smell so I wouldn't use it on herbs or vegetables but it sure does the job on ornamentals. It seems to last a long time even after several weeks of rain and sprinkler soaking. I think it may be creating a conditioned response in the animals' behavior so that they leave these plants alone.
I found this at a local nursery last year and am so sold on it, I am buying it by the gallon. |
