This unit is well worth the money. We have had it set up for about a week and I have not had to swat one mosquito away. It’s so unobtrusive that we hardly even know that its there, except for the fact that the mosquitoes aren’t. We couldn’t even use our pool after dark before, because the mosquitoes would swarm around our heads. Now, our whole property is protected from them, even around the front.

The only real drawback to this unit is the set up. You have to make sure that you are downwind from the mosquitoes, but the helpful, friendly staff at their customer support site will help you with that.

• This product gets 4 out of 5 stars. The only drawback is if you block the device with furniture or something else, its efficacy is reduced. It also does not repel mosquitoes. However, after plugging one in on both my front and back porches, I never see bugs there. Our neighborhood is infested with German cockroaches, and thanks to our Sunbeam SB-600, none of these bugs have managed to get into our house. I have even left them running during the winter and have not have a problem with their reliability.

• Even though I hate spiders and have seen them in my home, I have been unable to use this device because I have pet rats. When the device would run, the rats were visibly upset, so I have been unable to use it.

• I began using the Sunbeam SB-600 after the invasion of ants in the kitchen. Once I plugged in the ultrasonic device, they were gone, like magic!
