Ultrasonic Repellent

Let’s face it; we all have had problems with pests from time to time.  Whether it is the flying, digging, boring, or pecking kind, at one time or another, unwanted guests have plagued us.

But there is one universal truth about all living creatures, there are certain things that each and every species detests and goes out of their way to avoid.  In this specific case, the repellent is called ultrasonic.

Most living creatures on the earth have hearing that far exceeds that of us lowly humans.  Though we are at a distinct disadvantage in most cases by having substandard hearing, it is this very trait that humans can exploit to repel almost any other creature on the planet, without harming the animals, the environment, or making themselves uncomfortable.

Ultrasonic pest repellents emit a high frequency sound that humans are unable to detect, but animals of all shapes and sizes find uncomfortable.  They come in all shapes, sizes and pitches, some being made with specific pests in mind, while others claim to be somewhat universal.  These repellents are successful because an animal can detect and avoid areas with the ultrasonic frequency before they even get close to your yard, keeping even the most determined pests at bay.

The other advantage is that most ultrasonic repellents are easily adjustable, meaning that as the pesky critters in your neighborhood adjust to the pitch being emitted by your repellant, you can change it, thus keeping the efficacy of your repellent high for a long time.

Of course, if there is a drawback to using ultrasonic technology, it is the price.  While most ultrasonic repellants are not exorbitantly expensive, they are somewhat more expensive than chemicals or homemade remedies.  The good news is that there is no reason to have to use any other method to naturally repel pests, so these devices will pay for themselves over time.

Here is another article with another opinion:

Don’t you jump when you are walking round your home and you observe a spider or roach that is sitting on the floor or on the tops of the counters? For some people no measure of cleansing has the ability to keep them at bay and this is rather daunting and very unhealthy for those people who live in it.

The first thing that numerous of us do is contact an exterminator to have them come out and do what they can to eliminate them all. But before we do that we should stop to consider the quantity of pesticides that these companies use. Pesticides are full of chemical substances that are able to irritate the skin and if breathed in might stimulate certain health problems.

Though not all pesticides have this effect on individuals it is still a theory and in our opinion is not something we wish to chance when we have small kids that reside in the home. Rather you can think of a pest control that is both risk-free and efficient. One such thing is sonic pest control.

This is an electronic device that releases a high frequency disturbance that only cockroaches, spiders, and even rats are able to hear. This noise is let loose throughout the house in the areas that you have situated them in and help to keep them away safely and without any messy cleanup from nasty traps.

There are certain people who are not at this time certain that this form of pest control is effective and functions the way that it says it does. While others feel that it has done a great job at keeping their home pest free. They are also rather delighted to not have to deal with pesticides and the troubles that they are able to induce.
